a lot has happened since i last posted on this blog.

first. boyfriend bought me a ring. ooooops! don’t get excited. he didn’t pop the question. so … don’t know what it’s for. a sign of commitment? hmmm … if after five years, we are still not committed, then i don’t know what to say.

second. the producer likes my script but i have to do some tweaking in terms of characters. which i haven’t done. it’s not easy going back to a finished product!

anyway, i have been asked to send a few synopses to be proposed to a local tv station. so that is what i shall be busy doing in the next two weeks.

hv just returned from a looong holiday. came back to reality. sigh.

i should count myself lucky. there are so many ppl out there who don’t have jobs!

today i walked and walked and walked.

thank goodness for my new shoes.

it’s not as bad as the first time.

am getting the hang of it.

it has been the weirdest week. i am suddenly quite sociable! i’m surprised at myself!

hv been hanging out with my colleagues, my housemates …

wow.

the terrible thing about the flu is that you have to take something to reduce the snifflings, sneezings, headache, etc … of course, there’s nothing much you can do about the flu itself. you’ve got to just ride it out.

i bought panadol and an herbal pill called hurix at the grocery store earlier, plus strepsils … my nose was like a runny pipe. and my colleague touched my arm and said i was hot although my hands were cold. couldn’t wait to go home.

and i was sweating for about an hour.

i’ve been reading up about swine flu since yesterday. yeah, of course, i’m worried … although i haven’t been out of the country.

and the wheezing last night worried me too.

oh, yeah. earlier, i parked my car at another block so i had to walk. did me some good. i think i shall practise that from now on.

i have to be positive, think positive … and not just to accept things as they are.

being sick and all alone is really no fun. heheh.

i googled positive thinking because … i feel like, lately, i hv been rather negative.

i expected to put on weight … and i have.

i was just thinking that maybe, i should park my car (well, my loaned car) a little further away, and walk to the office. like i used to do when i was taking the bus. yeah. i think i’ll start doing that today … eventhough i’m kinda sick!

my boyfriend used to make me this wonderful spiced tea when i was sick in malaysia. i guess i also miss the hugs. i know it’s not very islamic … but touching is good for overall health, and that is why we should get married ASAP!!!

heheheh.

i was about to perform my zuhur prayers, and in the third rakaat,  heard the azan for asar. great. well, it’s my fault. i’m such a procrastinator!

my forehead feels warm. and now im sleepy again.

last night, my temperature was really high. well, i don’t know how much coz i don’t hv a thermometre … but i could feel my skin burning up, really hot. and terrible muscle ache. not to mention the wheezing in my chest. but i kinda willed myself to get better. just slept and slept and slept. woke up fever almost gone. took a long hot shower. some honey lemon lozenges, drank water. now a bit better, but sneezing and runny nose.

in malaysia, i don’t really hv to go to the doctor, just get sinusoidin at the pharmacy. maybe i should do that here. ask for something. any antihistamine will do. i’m just feeling sooooooooo weak.

the temptation to go back to sleep is great. not becoz im sleepy, but am feeling lethargic.

what’s going on?

safira and aditya’s relationship gets more intimate this week as they go on their first date. hahahaha. so sweet. young love … aah. i tell you, there’s nothing like innocent young love. honestly. especially when it’s just touching hands, kisses on the cheeks … when it gets too physical, that’s when the romance wears off. hold off sex kids. or you will miss the sweetness of a relationship that you would want to look back with a smile.

hv been watching this scratchy video on youtube. the opening theme for the new indonesian drama series on tv2, Safira. i love that song by Ari Lasso feat. BCL. it’s perfect for Safira.

The hero, played by Lucky Perdana, is so adorable. i can’t believe he’s in his early 20s. if bf and i hv a son, he’d prob look sthing like Lucky. HAHHAHHHAHAHHA. peraasan. see, his smile is like mine. i hv that slow smile. and his eyes are as beautiful as my bf’s. so, i suspect my son will hv a smile like Lucky’s! oh, maaaan … is my biological clock ticking or what!

the heroin, Safira is played by a teenager Yukino Amira (she’s mixed Japanese-Arab Indonesian, i think). she’s rather sweet. i think the casting is perfect.

this young love thing makes me want to write poetry, love songs, paint the sky …

so crazy.
